Fear what have you done to us : We were once worrios

We were once warriors we fought and died for this freedom we not enjoying

But now we sit and watch while few individuals steal and loot from our hard-earned democracy, while few individuals benefit from the hard work, blood, sweat, and tears of our brothers and sister who died for the very freedom we don’t have today.

Are we free if we are jobless and cannot provide for our families, wives, and children?

Are we free if we constantly live in fear of being hijacked, mugged, and robbed?

Are we free if we constantly worry about our kids being bullied and killed by others in schools?

Are we free if teacher not only abuses or assault our children but impregnating them instead of teaching and guiding them for their better future?

We were once warriors we fought to our death to defend our freedom and to defend our women and children. We were once worries we fought and died for these lands.

We were once warriors we took action, we were action orientated

Are we free when we sit and watch those we entrusted with leadership mislead and lie to us, are really free when those we entrusted steal and loot from our democracy to enrich themselves and their families?

Are we free when opportunities are for the few when we have to buy our way to better life?

We were once warriors we fought injustice, abuse, and corruption.

Are free when a group can watch another being robbed and do nothing, are we really free

I still say we were once warriors we fought and died for these lands, we fought and died for this freedom that we not enjoying today, the freedom that our children might not see for we sit and watch while they bully, abuse and kill each other, while drug dealers and drugs shorten their lives.
